National Flag Memorial, on the banks of
the Paraná River, to commemorate the
day when General Manuel Belgrano hoisted
the national flag for the first time.
Proceeding to the streets of Rosario

"Woman´s Day Race" will
be run in different cities of Argentine and the rest
of the world.

The
women from
clothing
and textile
factories staged one such protest on March
8th,
1857 in New York City. The
garment workers were protesting what they saw as very
poor working conditions and low wages. The protesters
were attacked and dispersed by police.
These women established their first labour union in
the same month two years later.
The
"Woman´s Day Race"

It is only for women. The women train for running in
Rosario, Córdoba, Comodoro Rivadavia, Junin,
Balcarce and Buenos Aires City.
